Stacey Muhammad is an award winning independent filmmaker and activist committed to using the power of media to educate, enlighten and empower humanity.
Her first film, “A Glimpse of Heaven, The Legacy of the Million Man March”, screened at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum in Baltimore, MD in 2005 and received rave reviews.
 

Her projects include several multi-media projects, music videos and short form documentaries, including, the award winning "I AM SEAN BELL, black boys speak", which made it’s film festival premier at the New Orleans International Human Rights Film Festival. This award winning short film has received national and international acclaim. It is currently on tour with the HBO / Media that Matters film festival and being screened and viewed by audiences worldwide.

As co-founder of "Intelligent Seedz", with Wise Intelligent, Stacey is committed to teaching youth the art of filmmaking and equipping them with the necessary tools to tell their stories

Her latest documentary, "Out of our Right Minds, Trauma, Depression and the Black Woman" was released in March 2009 and has already received rave reviews. The film premiered at the PATOIS International Human Rights Film Festival in New Orleans, LA and is currently screening nationwide.

Her latest film, For Colored Boys, REDEMPTION is currently on the festival circuit.
