Join us as we explore Scriptures line by line, precept upon precept, using the bible to interpret itself. "New Jerusalem" is based on Jacob becoming Israel (Genesis 32:28); Jacob having 12 sons who became the Israelites (John 1:47); the Gentiles being grafted in (Romans 11:13-19); and finally being called "New Jerusalem" (Revelation 3:12). So we look for a building not made with man's hands (Hebrews 11:10), but who's builder and maker is God. This new building will descend from the Heaven and is called the "New Jerusalem" (Revelation 21:1-3).
