By popular demand Dr. Candy Dawson - Boyd returns to NCEBCTalkRadio to continue the conversation and empowerment related to Common Core Standards and its impact on students (and communities) of color.

Joining Dr. Boyd for the second half of the show will be Augusta Mann, a nationally renowned educator and senior scholar at the National Urban Alliance.  Ms. Mann uses research-based culturally responsive pedagogical practices steeped in African culture to accelerate learning and achievement.  With "Touching the Spirit" (TM) principles, Augusta has developed practical and instructional uses of rhythm (in music, speech, and movement); Ritual (affirmations/performances), and Recitation (oral performance/memorization).

Both guests will be taking questions from our listeners.  Tune in to listen and log in to chat!
