Who can tame it? James 3:8, says no man can tame his tongue. With men this is impossible. The tongue is poison when used in a negative way. The Holy Spirit tames our tongues. Most Christian think this happens automatically when we are born again. You can tell if a Christian tongue is tamed by what comes out of their mouths. If we continue to allow our mouths to control our tongues with curses instead of blessing, these words will eventually destroy our witness, hinder our prayers, and cause us to live a fruitless life that will could eventually end our lives prematurely.
