Shire', formally known as “Chinky”, was catapulted into the music industry as the founding member of LovHer, the first female group to sign with legendary hip hop label, Def Jam Records. Although their debut album was never released as a result of conflicting interests, the group was featured on a variety of celebrated media platforms including performances on MTV’s TRL, The BET Awards and The Lady of Soul Awards.
