Rev 2:6  But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

The God of the Bible is very unique in that he is perfect, righteous, and holy in all his ways,
for in him is no darkness at all. When he says he hates something, whatever that thing is, it is
evil, even if men find it pleasing. The scriptures list some very specific things that God hates,
and it will serve us all well to take note of those things. If we would be faithful to our God, we
must know what he hates, so we can hate it too. Is he our Father? If so, that makes us his
children, and as his children, we desire to be on the side of our heavenly Father in all things.
Chosen by his grace and adopted into his family, we do not want to be found loving things,
believing things, or doing things that displease him, and when we find out that we are
cherishing, believing, and doing things that he hates, we have no choice but to give them up
at once.
