Kalen purchased her first studio in 1987 and grew it through four building expansions before selling it in 2006. Following that, she did some teaching and consulting for a few years, then decided that she hadn't gotten rid of the bug yet so I opted to start from scratch on a brand new studio, in a much smaller community just outside her previous market. She opened StudioK in June of 2010 and has been chugging along ever since.
