Dr.King: Friend or Foe

Dr.Martin Luther King's Holiday is today. I do not take away what this man has done for his people. He gave the ultimate sacrifice, by putting his life on the line. I could never reach the plateau he had obtained and that is not my goal. I am not here to admonish this great man, but question his tactics. Why is he the only one out of our culture giving a holiday? We had great men before, during his time, and after him. Why is he the symbol of greatness, to represent us as a whole?
