In Hour One... It's been said by more than one person who has come to ask a question about the money for the mortgage bailouts and the special interest rates for families in trouble. The problem is for many of the troubled families, they get a better interest rate than the honest families who have paid their bill on time. So the question that has been posed literally dozens of times to us is, "If it is all legal to do, wouldn't it be financially irresponsible to continue to pay the mortgage at the old rate. Especially if by waiting 90 days with no payment you could access the bailout rates which are far lower?" Shouldn't a good steward save money? 800.345.9622 to tell us your thoughts on what the "right" thing to do is. In Hour Two... This week Kevin posted a blog entry that used ebonics to describe a fictional statement that President Obama might have been thinking or inclined to say. As a tool for humor the fictional statement turn out to be the far more controversial issue. Should people use accents, dialects, or caricatured voices in poking fun at ideas, principles or actions of those they disagree with? Does it in fact make those who use them... racist? Anyone see the movie Tropic Thunder... 800.345.9622.
