Conversion, baptism, penalty of sin... sounds scary!

Part of the reason is people don't want to understand it.  I was that person, I ran from it, but knew it was there.  The only thing scarier than not following the Bible, is following the wrong group using the Bible.  Maybe it's a denomination.... independent fundamental Bible believing.... Methodist, Southern Baptist, etc.  Or maybe your religion tells you to not even read your Bible, they will provide what you need to know.... a bit of a red flag there!
