Do smart people seek God or does God make smart people after they are saved?

God could make us all rich, he could have made us all  look alike, he could have not made us at all.  He could have had a better companion with a dog some would say.  I can't see tomorrow, but I know who can.  Let's see about some people from the Bible that were super smart, isnt' that what we all want to be anyway?
