Creative Voice~Celebrity Make-up Artist~ Riska Crowder

At an early age of 5, Riska found it entertaining to bridge cosmetology and makeup by cutting the ponytail of her cousin’s hair while being the annoying baby sister and making a mess in her sister’s makeup.While they found her behavior as being destructive, Riska was discovering her talent and vivid imagination. The proud look from her mother’s facewhen applying lipstick and blush, impressed upon her heart and placed the stamp of approval on her careerchoice that would establish the brand that we all know as “RISKA CROWDER”. 

2007 marked the year of hitting the ground running, as Riska took the charge of becoming a licensed cosmetologist at the Fort Worth Beauty School, whereshe excelled in her educational prowess and graduated in June of 2009. The next accomplishment was not far from the radar, as Riska attended the All Good Beauty Institute, where the training and certification as an eyelash extension professional was accomplished in May 2009. Upon graduation, Riska had the pleasure of working with one of the top makeup brands in theindustry, which is the “World Famous” M.A.C cosmetics in which, the acronym is identifiably knownfor Makeup Artist Cosmetics. She became one of the premier certified M.A.C. consultants until her departure in August 2011, as she set the tone to create her own identified brand as “Lady Lashes” -a lash extension and makeup boutique, located in Jelay’s Epiphany Salon in Fort Worth that is very successful to date with client’s from all over the DFW area.
