Thirty years ago today, Tim Burton’s Batman hit theaters and changed the course of movie history. The DC Comics adaptation starring Jack Nicholson and Michael Keaton marked the first time anyone dared to take the Dark Knight seriously in live action, and its staggering box office success laid the groundwork for every single cinematic superhero battling it out in multiplexes ever since. It all happened because of Batman. As you can imagine, this one hit us at exactly the right time, so it’s a pretty important movie moment for both of us, and we had an absolute blast watching, reminiscing, and sharing anecdotes, and we hope you’ll enjoy listening along!
