Week 13 Mountain West football preview

Jeremy and Matt are back to preview Week 13 but before they do that the two go over the College Football Playoff rankings which still have Boise State at the top but as we all know still need help to earn a bid to the Cotton Bowl. There are now four teams ranked and we discuss a few dooms day scenarios that could have a three-loss team from the Group of Five in a big time bowl game.

We do get to the games after the lengthy start and it begins on Friday with Boise State at Air Force and this is a game that the Broncos must win if they want to have a chance to win the division.

Firday the big game is Wyoming at New Mexico where if things go nuts the Lobos might have a way to win the Mountain Division (we were not entirely clear as the tiebreaking rules are odd), but what we do know is that if Wyoming wins they are in the conference title game and have a rematch with San Diego State.

The other big game is UNLV vs. Nevada where the Fremont Cannon is on the line and quite possibly Brian Polian's job as the Wolf Pack head coach as well.
