December 25th, Santa Claus and Jesus Christ??  “Houston, I Think We Have a Problem!”

In the era of America’s rising intellectual enlightenment, how do we reconcile this contradiction?  The Black Reality Think Tank welcomes Dr. Bruce Bridges, author of “Awakening the African Mind,” international known lecturer and speaker on the African American experience, retired college professor and former owner of the Know Book Store in Durham, N. C. will discuss the origin and history of many of the holidays celebrated in America.  The conversation will pinpoint how many of the celebrations originate in religious ideology and expand to secular activity.   The conversation will also focus on the economic agenda of holiday celebration and how it has expanded globally.
