TV, film and web director Shannon Flynn talks about life behind the lens! She has directed hundreds of TV shows and worked with huge stars like Miley Cyrus, Debby Ryan, and more. If you've seen a popular kids show on Disney or Nickelodeon in the past decade, chances are Shannon directed it. She talks about watching Miley Cyrus grow up before her eyes, and how child stars in real life vs what we see on TV. She was very supportive of the current movement that's encouraging more producers to hire female directors. You want to have a woman's perspective and not the same guys over and over again. Plus Shannon is a mom of 3 kids which adds a whole other level of stress and motivation to succeed in a male dominated field.
