Celebration of life honorary nominee for Stroke Tia Timpson

Tia Timpson is a 23 year old stroke survivor who grew up in Harford County, Maryland and attends college she shared with us “I had a massive stroke when I was 20 years old that paralyzed the entire left side of my body. I have since undergone seven surgeries as a result of the stroke including, brain, skull, heart, and hip surgery, amongst others. I’m enrolled back into college, and have walked five 5K races since my stroke.  I have over 1,000 followers/fans on my social media and nationwide supporters as I am very active with the American Heart Association. She is a young woman of God who is also a national spokesperson for the American Heart Association, and an ambassador for The Power To End Stroke Campaign. Most recently had been chosen as one of the 12 honorees at this year's Celebration Of Life gala(along with CrystanieDa-Ja'Ron and 10 others) and 2014 Women's Challenge Calendar
