Wonderfully Multifaceted Multi-talented Adena Lanette

Adena is a strong young faithful woman of God, married to Christian Varner CEO/Founder/Owner of HalfbamHalfamazinTraining, LLC.  An amazing mother of three.  Just a few of her many talents are Playwright, Director, Actor and Singer. Adena shared with us “I was born and raised in Baltimore City in Maryland. I went to high school at the Baltimore School for the Arts where I studied theatre. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre from the University of Maryland College Park. I wrote and directed my first stage play April 2012 and I have performed in several productions. I also direct the youth choir at my church. I am only 26 and I am married with 3 children.  When I graduated from college I was 8.5 months pregnant. That was one of the biggest obstacles I ever faced. I decided that I would never let my decision to be a mom be an excuse to settle but my kids are my reason to succeed. I am now working on my second stage play that I am looking forward to debuting in the near future. I am also in the beginning stages of starting an after school program for middle schools.  I love Jesus! I worship at the Shiloh Baptist Church of Baltimore County.  I support Peter and John ministries. Mainly the radio station that is produced by the ministry which is SHINE FM. It’s a Christian station that has dramatically changed my life.”
