Tonight, Stronghold vs. Strongman and Possess vs. Affected.
Being spiritually minded helps us to be free from dwelling sin. SEE Romans 8:1-17
Stronghold (are built upon deception and lies that we accept and agree in our mind) vs. Strongman (the Bible refers to a strongman as Satan, the devil, demonic). Possess (to have complete power over someone) vs. Affected (influenced or touched by an external factor).
God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth (John 4:24)
The transformation by the renewal of our mind affects our soul to surrender to the Holy Spirit. Therefore, our instruction is to "cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:3-5).
