Love/Light/Peace/Blessings/reconnection VIA MUSIC. WE THE MELANATED PEOPLES OF THE EARTH CREATED THIS THING CALLED MUSIC. NO MATTER THE GENRE, DANCE, ETC IT CAME FROM US. IT IS TIME TO RECLAIM OUR MUSIC AND PUT IT BACK IN THE CORRECT FREQUENCY TO EMPOWER OUR PEOPLE ONCE AGAIN. I CHOSE THIS AVENUE TO GIVE BACK. DJ Moor-ena is paying homage to the Tamoanchan peoples of the African Diaspora. Through this outlet, I am bridging Moors in North America to Moors in South & Central America, and the Caribbean while RE-CONNECTING THEM back to Mama Africa. DJ Moor-ena's further goal is to connect with our other brothers and sisters that reside in Europe and Asia as well; The time is NOW for our people globally to reconnect because we all have suffered from the same agenda against us. WE NEED EACH OTHER! It is about time our people reconnect. Too many times I hear reasons to disconnect within our circle because 1) We believe in different religious paradigms; 2) We speak a different language depending what country we were born in; or my favorite, 3) You couldn't be "black!" are too light OR I am NOT African because my skin is light and my hair is "this" texture, I am just different; or I will call myself another misnomer. My people...Get off that train to HELL Willie Lynch created!!! It is a lie! For far too long we allowed this dis-ease to spread globally through colonialism! As Brother Marley SO ELOQUENTLY remarked, Afica Unite! I am a Moor who FOLLOWS various teachings of Noble Drew Ali, Marcus Garvey, Booker T. Washington, and various others. Being a Pan-Africanist is also another integral part of our existence and global position.
