What women want and what women need are total opposites. We often want things that we don't need; and likewise, we need things we don't want.

For example, we use money that's designated for utilities and buy shoes or jewelry or something else we have buyer's remorse over.

Or we're drawn to the wrong types of men and spend more time in the emergency room getting treatment for abuse, or at the precinct getting restraining orders.

The point is, we heal faster when we bond with sisters in the spirit of genuine kindness and compassion. Women are nurturers and healers by nature. We are "helpers" in a deeper sense than merely doing laundry or making beds.

Women will rise again to their rightful place when we bond together as sisters to help each other heal.

It's a process. It's a rise. It's a quiet rise that you don't see coming.
