Frankie Edgar and Marcus Brimage on Punch Drunk Radio

Punch Drunk Radio tonight welcomes to the show UFC 150 headliner Frankie Edgar. On Saturday, “The Answer” goes after his former UFC lightweight title when he rematches with Ben “Smooth” Henderson in Denver.  Edgar won the lightweight title against B.J. Penn at UFC 112. Then he defended it in the rematch at UFC 118. He fought to a legendary draw with Gray Maynard at UFC 125, then defended the belt at UFC 136. But Henderson took his title at UFC 144 – and, notice the theme here? Edgar now is set for the rematch and hopes to have the “Answer” in the Mile High City.

UFC featherweight Marcus Brimage will call in to talk to us about his next fight, which takes place at UFC 152 in Toronto against fellow rising 145-pound star Jimy Hettes. Brimage finally got his crack at “The Ultimate Fighter” after having to miss out twice with injuries. And after TUF 14, he has gone 2-0, including playing the roll of spoiler for Maximo Blanco’s promotional debut at UFC 145 in April.
