Since its founding in 2002, the Beyond Diversity Resource Center has worked to fulfill its mission of improving human relations through training and education programs. In 2006, the Center received the Champions of Diversity Award from the Courier Post, one of southern New Jersey’s largest newspapers. That award is presented to organizations that “have a . . . history of demonstrated results in standing up for racial, ethnic or religious diversity.”

Robin Parker is the Executive Director of the Beyond Diversity Resource Center. Prior to holding that position, Mr. Parker served as a Deputy Attorney General in the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice. He was appointed Chief of the Office of Bias Crime and Community Relations on June 8, 1994. In that position he was responsible for the statewide investigation and prosecution of bias crime. Under his leadership, the office also developed groundbreaking diversity initiatives including the Institute for Human Relations and the administration of the New Jersey Human Relations Council. Parker currently facilitates diversity training for individuals, businesses, educational institutions, human relations commissions and police agencies; sponsors conferences on cultural diversity and community dialogue throughout the nation; and lectures extensively on the subject
