Christopher Nolan's debut feature Following was shot on weekends over the course of a year with a budget of roughly $6,000. No biggie. Despite its low budget, it is an effective and unsettling thriller, including many of the staples that would become synonymous with Nolan's style such as confusing, out-of-sequence narratives and characters named 'Cobb.' Paige Hamilton and Mark Spurlock make their first appearance on Missings Frames for their first ever viewing of the film and attempt to help Shawn wrap his head around its labyrinthian plot.
