"Purposed for Godliness!"

 Daffany Smith is a wife, mother and grandmother, born in the city of Chicago and raised in a wonderful Christian home.  Her life took a turn when she made the decision to rebel.  Like most teenagers, she thought she knew it all.   Because of one unwise decision to leave home and "experience" the world, she found herself married with two children, in and out of several abusive relationships and addicted to drugs. She received her deliverance from drugs and alcohol abuse on November 21, 1981, at the New Light C.O.G.I.C. under the leadership of Bishop B.R. Benbow, her continual testimony is of the miraculous power of salvation and her amazing deliverance from a $500.00 a day cocaine habit. God has anointed her for service and Minister Daffany believes that God's love can change anyone and any situation. She is devoted to God, her family, her ministry, and  to the people of God. All this shows in the continual service of her and her husband, Pastor Melvin Smith.  They are dedicated to the service of the Lord, doing whatever their hands find to do.
