Hi Everyone and welcome to my Wednesday night show. On this episode of MRRRS we feature some changes in this wide world of the music industry through out the decades. In the 50's Rock n Roll had some different styles like rockabilly, dowop, soul, rythme and blues, then came the 60's the year that music starting meaning the most to yours truly. At the very young age of six I was laying on my mamaw's couch they was listening to one of the many rock stations in the area Kingsport''s own WKIN-AM Radio 1320 was the dial on your radio. that very day I was interested in knowing everything that their was to know about being a radio man thats what I called the man that I heard coming through the speaker of my mamaw's radio that warm spring day. IN March of 1979 it finally happened for me a part-time position at WGOC AM 1090 on your AM dial and I got a phone call at 10Am from then program director Chris E. Goins to come in to work at the station. I had gotten the call that I had wanted to get and prayed for all of my 18 years of life. I became real close personal friends with Chris over the years in fact we were close friends before I had him as my boss.Chris has gone on now to his Heavenly Home ( way too soon) R.I.P. MY Friend we will meet again someday very soon at our Hillside Hoscenda in the sky to never have to say goodbye again. To his pretty wife Kris Seal Goins and his brother Timothy Goins with whom both of them are very very dear friends of mine still to this day I would surely hope that they are and didn't beleave those serious lies said about me on face book back a few years back by people that was supposed to be friends also but they really were no frinds at all to do me like that. To Kris and Tim I love you both as much as I ever did and I hope that you both feel the same about me. call me sometime and lets talk. enjoy tonights show
