is Hip-Hop dead?

Is hip-hop dead? If it isn't than it surely isn't being played on our radios today. All you hear about its ho's, rims, bling bling, & the amount of guns people have. Is hip hop today still the groundbreaking revolution it once was? What happened to Public Enemy, A Tribe Called Quest, & KRS-One who threw different approaches & worked together to enlighten people about black experiences. What happened to the diversity that made the melting pot of hip hop so refreshing?
