Parenting Dos and Do Nots

Being a parent is an honor and should not be taken lightly by a man or a woman in a relationship or a husband or wife. There is no greater joy in my life than being a parent; we do not have to be perfect parents -just give all your possible love and understanding to your child and set a good example. Please, talk with your child and support who they are and not try to make them a carbon copy of you-unless they want to be; most importantly read daily with them the bible and teach them to love G-O-D first and foremost. Please, do set guidelines and what not to do. Do not spoil them-let them earn some things that they want and they will grow, develop self esteem and benefit. Early on do charitable work with them and teach them very important values in life.
