UNDERSTANDING THE REASON FOR PRAYER.

The reason for prayer must be understood for prayer to be effective and result oriented. The Bible says in James 4:2-3; "

You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. ^£Yet you do not have because you do not ask.
³You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures." The reason why you are praying must be in line with the one you are praying to. You must be able to know the will of God concerning the matter that you are praying about. God answers prayers, and we need to be praying according to His will, so as to achieve success in prayers.
