We have begun to take control of own narratives, telling our stories using whatever tool and digital means is available to us. That act of storytelling interconnects us – creating an imaginary and real social fabric. The storyteller becomes a diplomat, a trickster, an opportunity creator, an entrepreneur, a node for change. How do we tell our stories? How do we help others tell their stories? How do we create opportunities by telling these stories?

Special Guests:  Alisa del Tufo of Threshold Collaborative and Peter Rohloff of Wuqu' Kawoq'.

Peter is the Medical Director of Maya Health Alliance and Faculty Member in Global Health at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.

Alisa founded three game changing organizations: Sanctuary for Families, CONNECT and Threshold Collaborative, www.thresholdcollaborative.org. Threshold’s work uses an array of participatory strategies and story gathering to ignite empathy, inclusion, insight and impact, continuing this tradition of innovation.

Hosts:
Kara Andrade
Julie Wiscombe

Special guests will also be presenting during The Ashoka Future Forum on May 30-31, 2013 in Washington, DC.
