Richard and Joyce direct the Legacy Foundation which provides media, management, technical and training services for sustainable development. The Foundation has worked in more than 40 countries and focuses on locally sustaining, training and networking, “from the ground-out”.

Guests: Joyce Stanley has more than 40 years experience in international development work in strategic planning and financial management, participatory development techniques, monitoring and evaluation, program management and implementation, training of trainers, curriculum design and gender awareness raising.  She has an MA from Stanford University, has worked with USAID, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and  the United National Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) in over 15 countries worldwide with an emphasis in East and Southern Africa.  

Richard Stanley began his a career in Peace Corps Service in 1967. He has 40 years experience in international development, in the areas of renewable energy and sustainable technology. His work has involved full time, long term positions in 8   nations spread over Africa and the South Pacific. He has also consulted for a multitude of agencies and institutions in the same capacity, in 25 additional nations globally.  He has an undergraduate degree in Industrial Psychology and Economics, from Marquette University and a MSc in Hydrogeology from Kent State University  in 1973.
