I received my Paralegal degree from Saint Mary’s College of California in 1998, and have been doing administrative and hospitality work for over twenty-five years.
I’ve always loved to write from as far back as I can remember. It was a way for me to express on paper what I couldn’t say aloud. As I got older, and as the years flew by, writing for me
got lost somewhere in between becoming a teenage mother, school, and working to provide for my daughters. I would still write from time to time and take a few writing classes here and there, but never pursuing it to the fullest, because my priorities wouldn’t allow me the time.
My daughters are now at an age where it has allowed me the time to start focusing on writing again, and due to COVID it allowed me the time to complete my first self-
published memoir Family Etiquette, which was released in November 2021 and written for my children. It is my hope that this book will fill in some of the gaps, and perhaps help to
explain what made me the woman I am today. Also, in sharing these family stories with others. It may encourage them that they too can overcome some of life’s most difficult challenges.
