Leon is a Children Literacy Advocate and organizer of the H.A.I.R(Helping All Inner-city Reading Program.
His program is for kids K-5th grade; The children read a book to the barber/beautician as they receive a haircut/hair-do. So, far their program has been successful in getting the youth in his community to read. It is a monthly program, the September dates are 9/24, 9/25, 9/26. They use your help in getting books for the program , donate a book today! Fighting child literacy is a community problem. Together we will make a difference.
