A native of Mobile, Alabama joined SWLA Center for Health Services as Chief Executive Officer in August 2015. A graduate of University of Alabama, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama with a Bachelors of Arts and Sciences in Healthcare Management with a minor in English and a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from University of Alabama at Birmingham. Mr. Anderson has 21 years of management experience in healthcare, with 18 years in executive management in Federally Qualified Health Centers. His experience also includes Grant Writing, Fund Raising, Facility Planning and Development, Performance Improvement, Strategic Planning, Patient Flow Mapping and Redesign, Community/Public Relations/Marketing, and Physician Recruitment. During his tenure at Franklin Primary Health Center, Inc. in Mobile, Alabama, Mr. Anderson as Chief Operating Officer oversaw the day to day operations for 20 community health center sites. He also coordinated the opening of 15 new health center sites in the South Alabama service area and oversaw 12 construction projects that included a combination of additions, renovations, and new site construction.
