Bishop John Crenshaw  is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving as sergeant until receiving an honorable discharge in 1976.  He is also a retired freight Driver for ABF Freight Company with 20 years of service.  John Crenshaw graduated from Washington Holmes Technical School and later attended the Word of Life Bible College in Mobile Alabama. He was called into the ministry, and in 1989  founded the New Life Christian Fellowship Church in Pensacola, Florida, where he has been serving as pastor for more than 20 years.  He is  the presiding Bishop & General Overseer of Kingdom  Life Worship Center, one church two locations in Pensacola, Fl and  Atlanta, Ga.

The following highlights some of his honors and accomplishments.
• Service: National Defense Service Medal, United States Marine Corps.
• People:  Featured in the September 2000 issue of the Gospel Today Magazine  as one of America’s most loved pastors.  Supports community based programs geared toward helping individuals improve their economical and social status by offering classes in job training, financial planning and other entrepreneurial opportunities.
• Growth:  Started with a membership of seven people in 1989, with the mission of saving souls and touching lives thru community service. Since the ministry has expanded to Atlanta, Georgia with  the continued mission of kingdom building with  a holistic approach to meeting  the needs of the total man.

Bishop John Crenshaw, has ministered in the U.S., London and Africa, and is known for his commitment to prayer.
