Our Guest Today is Randiss Hopkins, a senior at Northern Illinois University studying Jazz Piano and Community Leadership & Civic Engagement. He is the founder of the 'Remember Project' which is a nonprofit organization that connects college students with volunteer opportunities in the most under-resourced communities throughout Chicago. His outstanding work through the 'Remember Project' led him the opportunity to share his story and inspire over 18,000 young students at the internationally acclaimed 'We Day' along with NBA legend, Magic Johnson, Selena Gomez, and Jennifer Hudson. In 2015, Randiss was named the inaugural recipient of the Dr. Martin Luther King, PEACE Award. He is also a Newman Civic Fellow, and more recently became the youngest person to be featured on the cover of the Diversity Magazine.
