Australia Sets the Scene for SurfSpotting

You know that sensation you experience when it feels like you’re flying, completely weightless and the world is just yours for the taking?  It’s that moment when no one and nothing else matters, you’re invincible and it’s just you ripping through the most electrifying wave.  That’s what it feels like for me every time I jump on a surfboard-SUP board-wakeboard, which is why I was so driven so speak with Andrew Scales, Founder of SurfSpotting and of course legendary surfer from Sydney Australia.  The SurfSpotting iPhone application, which recently went to the top 100 in the app store, is an application that allows the user to have access to view 1,250 surfing locations worldwide with their exact GPS locations.  This is a phenomenal application to make sure you have when you’re an adrenalized traveler like me jumping on surfboards from the California coast all the way through to the coasts of Australia.  How many times have we gone looking to ride the perfect waves while we’re adventuring around the globe and not know where to look?  Finally, we have an exact GPS locator for the best surfing spots and finally, it’s accessible to all of us.  Andrew has such an extensive insight into surfing and the most epic places to ride some waves.
