Chatting with Darden Smith, Songwriter, Musician, Pioneer

Interviewing with Darden Smith a few weeks ago felt like having a discussion with my favorite poet.  I really didn’t want the conversation to end.  His extensive travels, illuminated by an incredibly successful career as a musician reflects a real determination and dedication for writing music.  As I read through Darden’s biography of growing up in rural Central Texas, singing in the local church choir and writing his first song at just ten years, it has really given me a perspective of this harmonious marriage of intuition between Darden and his desire to produce really insightful and purposeful music.  Take a look at the my interview with Darden to find out how it all started, some of his favorite places around the world to perform and what Darden is up to when he is not performing.
