One of the things that I really love about our show is that I always come back in absolute amazement having learned just an incredible amount from the guests I speak with. One particular discussion is the one I had with Dr. Michael Kevane of Friends of African Village Libraries Project (FAVL). Not only is the work that FAVL is pursuing creating immense learning opportunities for students who have a yearning desire to read and understand more, the libraries which they are establishing is also creating a community forum for the exchange of ideas, etc. These projects are currently based in countries like Burkina Faso, Ghana, Tanzania and Uganda. If you're someone who might be interested in volunteering at a library in one of these countries, listen in on what Dr. Kevane has to say about the upcoming volunteer projects.
