Comedian, actor and writer, Jim Dailakis

Australian Greek actor/writer/comedian Jim Dailakis has been touring the USA for the last 15 years headlining in major comedy clubs including Caroline’s, Stand Up New York, Broadway and The Laugh Factory all in New York City.

He headlines worldwide as a standup comedian in Australia, the Cayman Islands, the UK and all across Canada.  He has worked with the likes of Jerry Seinfeld, Larry the Cable Guy, Kevin Nealon, Carolyn Rhea, The Temptations, Aretha Franklin and Weird Al Yankovic, Jake Johansen and performed alongside Brad Garrett from Everybody Loves Raymond in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand. Since his arrival in the US, Jim has appeared in TV commercials as well as having performed a lot of voiceovers in radio and television.

He recently played a role in the independent award winning movies Mona and Broadway's Finest. He had a supporting role in the movie Uncle Melvin's Apartment and played the role of a Greek immigrant in New York in the film, This Is Reality.

Jim is working on several feature films he’s written as vehicles for himself including All My Friends Are Getting Married which has a sales agent already in place. He has a one-man show called "Skitso" where he convincingly plays over 20 original and celebrity characters. The start date for the preview is March 18-19 at the Triad Theater in New York City. Charles Messina is directing. The project has attracted the attention of Broadway a producer.

On stage, Dailakis talks about relationships, love and mimics movie stars with an uncanny ability of being able to contort his face so he can look like them too.
