MARTINHA JAVID/ MI Interiors, LLC

I was born in Sao Miguel Acores, migrated to the USA at age 11.

For me, design, art and creation are part of my dna.  It is when I’m in a creative process that I feel alive and lose all sense of time, I am in my soul. Through design I am able to transmute my client’s passions, cultures, and dreams into their living or working spaces.  Design to me goes much deeper than materialism that we live with or simply acquire.  It’s about a personal relationship built upon great communication and collaboration with my clients, thus the end process is a creation that will speak “sanctuary” whenever in their home or work space.

My desire and goal is to find space in which we can work on these pieces. Patent my own furniture line through this process and sell to other designers as well as private buyers and clients.
