You may know that the mind communicates to the body, example: if the mind senses danger it will start sending messages to the body to engage the fight or flight response, or the stress response. Another example is the emotions we experience when we fall in love or we get angry, or grieve and cry uncontrollably, the mind is communicating and the body responds.
Here is the interesting fact, the pathway of communication flows in both directions, and you can use the body to communicate to the mind, you can use the body to calm an agitated, angry, anxious and depressed mind.
