Howard Johnson retired in 2010 after 34 years of employment with the Georgia Department of Human Services. He is married to Jacqueline and they have two adult sons. Howard earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Georgia State University. He joined BetterInvesting in the year 2000 and became a Director of the former Atlanta Chapter in 2003. When the Georgia Chapter was chartered in 2012, Howard was included as a director. Howard has only missed two national conventions since he attended his first one in 2003. He is currently a member of his family investment club which was started in 2013 and a member of the Central Georgia Model Investment Club which was started in 2019. As a director, Howard enjoys visiting clubs and assisting them with club operations and portfolio management. He currently serves as Regional Mentor for three Chapters in the South Region, as Region Chair of the South Region, as a Director on the BetterInvesting Volunteer Advisory Board, as Chair of the Club Support Committee and as a Vice President of Club Support for the newly formed Online Chapter.
