When we look at relationships with other people today and with God, what do we see?

One of the reasons that the world is in the shape that it's in is because we have forgotten how to sustain viable relationships--with children, spouses, family, others, and God. How do we know when the relationship is collecting dust and cobwebs are strangling life out of it?

When we stop caring about one another--stop being mindful of the needs of others; especially those we live with and stop allowing God to guide us in all things--the relationship is broken and needs mending.

However, broken relationships don't need band-aid fixes, they need healing.

Broken relationships with spouses--need one-on-one conversations--truthful--even with truth hurts and both need to listen to hear beyond the words.

Broken relationships with children--need special attention--children need to know they are an important part of every decision and their feelings need consideration every step of the way.

Broken relationships with others--need confrontation--to determine what happened, if it matters, and how all parties can move forward without regret, bitterness or anger.

A broken relationship with God--needs prayer, repentance, and determination to live according to His Word--embracing His love as a way of life.

Relationships are only as important as those involved want them to be.If you'd like to join us in this conversation, give us a call at 619-638-8499 during our live broadcast!
