What would you do if you ended up at a swingers party with two dead bodies and $20,000 in drug money?

Join me as I sit down with celebrated "Neo-Pulpy" Pulp-Noir/Crime Writer/Producer, Jonathan Woods, and Award-winning Director Quincy Perkins to find out!

They've said of Mr. Woods' ouvre:

  • Spinetinger Magazine said: “Woods is the David Lynch of short crime fiction.”
  • Booklist called Bad Juju: “A dance of life and death that soars and plummets like Fred Astaire on methamphetamine.
  • “Violence, sex and gonzo plot twists fuel Woods’ diverting collection of stories, most set in sun-and-blood-drenched borderlands,” wrote Publishers Weekly.
  • Hallucinatory, hilarious, imaginative noir,” raved New York Magazine

Our regular listers will remember, friend-of-the-show, Quincy Perkins!

Quincy has shot all over the world. Working on Curious Case of Benjamin Button in Ireland and Mexico, to Master and Commander in Ecuador, to Once in Ireland. He was nominated for a New Generation Cinematographers Award. His short films have been seen on HBO, IFC, Travel Channel, and Discovery Channel. He has worked for National Geographic Magazine and Television and is fluent in Spanish.
