How did the Presidency of the United States change in its first 60 years?

In this show we will explore the Presidents from George Washington to James Polk. We will look at the achievements of the Presidents and how their role moved from one of a strong federal government to one where states had equal power. We will examine both foreign and domestic policies of Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Monroe, Jackson and Polk.
