"Understanding the Presence of God!"

The immediacy of the Presence of God through the person of the Holy Spirit is startling. Once you enter in you can never truly leave. The confirmation of this is rooted in the growth of the relationship. It is based on developing intimacy with the Father. Make no mistake about it; He must be pursued by you! You have to seek Him diligently and when you come into His Presence, you have to know He is who He says He is and that He will reward you with His Presence.

          Unfortunately, many Christians have never experienced His Presence and most never will. What they think is the “Presence of God” on Sunday mornings is actually a cheap knock off of His Presence. The preacher, the choir, the praise team and the Hammond organ do not “usher in” the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not sitting behind the curtain with a robe draped over His shoulders waiting to be summoned by the armor bearer that it is time to enter the sanctuary. There is no such thing as setting the mood or clearing the atmosphere for Him to “show up and show out.”
