Leslie Fletcher is the Director of Volunteer Administration for American Red Cross - Southeastern PA Chapter. ARC is a national privately funded organization that provides disaster education, preparedness, and relief. Red Cross relies heavily on volunteers.

The volunteers who most readily come to mind are those who respond to fires and other individual or national disasters. We also have volunteers who provide administrative support, participate in planning special events, fund raise, and assist at the Red Cross House - a temporary residence that serves people who have lost their homes due to disaster and require assistance beyond immediate emergency care. In other words, you can get in where you fit in.

Please consider volunteering, you most likely will find that you receive at least as much as you give.
