The issues of females, young and old, have long been a topic for discussion and debate since the days of Eve. Books have been written about the differences of women and men such as Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus. I agree women are a special breed but there are issues that women deal with on a daily basis, from their own personal feelings about themselves to the way they are perceived and treated by society.  Psalms 139:14 says "I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well."

So,God made no mistake in the creation of the female but is the Proverbs 31 woman stil l a reality? Women usually wear so many hats and sometimes perform roles they were not intended to perform. So,when you get down to it, are most of these issues self-inflicted or are they symptoms of our past and how females are treated in the home, in school, in the church, in society and in relationships? To start the conversation, tonight I have enlisted the help of several powerful women to discuss THE FEMALE PERSPECTIVE, in the Church,in the Family and in Society. We will discuss our issues, our roles and how women can receive healing.Tonight we welcome Dr. Vell Lyles, the dynamic 1st Lady of Emmanuel Ministries Church of God in Christ, Erica Stanley, the Groundbreaking Pastor of Masterpiece Community Connection Ministries, and Deaconess Sonia Legg of New Psalmist Baptist Church, who has been blessed to encounter and affect our young women in the Baltimore City school system.
