Laura Gall grew up in Harlem, USA.  Harlem is known for it's World Famous Apollo Theater where Laura Gall enjoyed so much entertainment as a youth.  However, Laura Gall's experience with music began at home.  Laura's Mom, Juanita Jackson, began entertaining people in her youth and really enjoyed partying with people.  Juanita had two professors.  They were Bar Maid and Hair Dresser.  Both lifestyles made Juanita a people person.  My Mom loved music, drinking and having a good time.  At home is where my experience began with music.  As a child I learned the lyrics to what is now known as old Blues standards.  But, the first song I remember learning was Sam Cooke's "You Send Me".  I have always embraced all types of music such as country or salsa or classical.  In college I took a course "Introduction To Music", but those types of courses are more technical.  I don't remember much from the course right now.  So, here is one facet of Laura Gall's life.....how I grew up connected to music and dancing.
